Alex Craggs - Children's Scribbler and Squiggler

Hello, I'm Alex, and the big chap next to the small chaps in front of the Olympic Stadium. It was through reading the wonderful stories and seeing the illustrations designed for small people like them that I realised I that I wanted to write and draw for them as well.

So now, by day I have a prosaic career in IT. It pays the mortgage plus a little more besides and I am very lucky to have it. By night I am a writer and illustrator of children's stories. It pays for nothing, in fact it costs me money and I love it.

Who knows if it will one day be writing and drawing that pays my mortgage? I don't. But I'm dreaming, chasing it, and hope to create that new book you love! (And before that small chap and his smaller brother become too big!)

I want to delight people with my work. If I succeed with you please let me know by email, and if by chance you're an enthused agent or publisher, I am equally enthused and looking for the breakthrough!
